Problem Solved!

I finally got hold of the much-desired KOTR singlet but here's the catch:

1. The neckline squeezes my neck with the near possibility of choking myself to death.

2. The armhole is too large which could still accommodate 2 arms of another runner.

3. The bottom part is extremely tight which is actually not a problem if you're Angelina Jolie.

The moment I got home, I tried several shirts (13 to be exact) that I could wear as undershirt for the lovable singlet.

The upper part will do. I only have to get rid of the white piping around the neckline so I could have room to breath.

As for the lower part, I could just cut it crosswise right below my breast so I can breath and run freely.

Then I read Dasher's comment that she was given a male singlet. Hmm . . . why didn't I think of that? It may not be too late. With just one phone call, I learned that I could exchange my singlet for a male singlet. Wasting no time, I rushed back to MOA and did just that.

I am ecstatic because all I have to do now is wear a shirt under my new singlet.

Problem solved.

  1. Take a deep breath at the finnish line, hold it for 9.8km and then breath out as you cross the finnish line....

  20. Hey Nora,
I just stumbled upon your blog. I was reading some of my friends blog- trying to get some inspiration to go running tonight.

I'm glad you're doing KOTR. My brother registered last week, but we to go mall hoping to find a siglet (meron sa MegaMall).

Nora, I hope you get to visit our restaurant at the Fort: its called Paul Calvin's Deli. We'll be serving Healthy Breakfast Buffet. We’re located at Rizal Drive (Between UCC & Chowking) sa tapat lang kami ng helipad.

Para di kayo maligaw you can call us at 856.5900.

Excited to meet new friends and hopefully new running buddies.

  21. Is this your first 21k Jay Em? Good luck!

Where do you run? I'm also looking for running buddies.

What is your restaurant's especialty? Could we just order instead of the buffet? Lumiit na kasi ngayon ang bodega ko, hindi na kaya ang buffet...

  24. Hah? Talaga Joe? I didn't expect I'd win kasi kasi dami namang nauna sa akin. Sayang! I had to leave early coz of family obligations.
Thank you, Joe. Nagkatotoo din yong prediction mo sa akin. I guess you had more faith in me than I have for myself. Next time, will wait for the awarding para naman maranasan kong makaakyat sa stage heh heh ...
