A Child's Prayer

Every night, my daughter Eia always say this prayer on top of our usual prayers:

"Jesus, heal Lolo.  Take care of Nanay in Pampanga.  Heal Mama's hand, knee and foot.  Bless Mama's work, business, tennis, marathon, fun run and Bull Run."

And last night, Eia surprised me by adding:  "Help Federer win"!

  1. Hi Nora. Go Federer! I'll see you guys soon. Will be in the Philippines from Friday, November 12 until Monday evening, November 22. From November 16 until Saturday morning, November 20th, I'll be in Cebu. Anyway, please take care. Looking forward to this one!

  2. Yes, Carrie. Funny and witty. But no matter how often I hear her say this, prayer, I get teary-eyed. She's a 10-year old girl with Down Syndrome and yet in her simple way, she understands what I'm going through and hopes to help me.

  4. hehehe, I don't know who Federer is, but it's such an uplifting prayer to know that a Child is praying for someone.

Miss you Tita Nora, see you on the road soon!

  5. Alfred, Roger Federer is probably the Greatest Tennis Player of All Time (unless Rafael Nadal beats his record of 16 Grand Slam wins).

Miss you too Alfred and I miss racing as well. See you 10-10-10?
